Sustainable landscaping is landscaping which is in balance with our local climate and soils. Sustainable landscaping requires minimal resource inputs, such as fertilizer, pesticides and water.  Properly designed, sustainable landscapes are visually pleasing, environmentally friendly and easy to maintain.
